Temperature & Humidity Sensor.
Parts required;
The SHTxx is a single chip relative humidity and temperature multi sensor
module comprising a calibrated digital 2-wire clock / bi-directional serial
data line.
Temperature accuracy
Range -40 - 123.8 Deg C
SHT11/71 0 - 50 Deg C (about +/- 1 Deg C)
SHT15/75 0 - 45 Deg C (+/- 0.5 Deg C)
Relative humidity absolute accuracy
Range 0 - 100% RH
SHT11/71 20 - 80% RH (+/- 3% RH)
SHT15/75 10 - 90% RH (about +/- 2% RH)
Dewpoint.
The temperature that the air must reach for the air to hold the maximum
amount of moisture it can. When the temperature cools to the dewpoint, the
air becomes saturated and fog, dew or frost can occur.
Alternatives.
HIH-3610-001 (AU$59.06) humidity sensor is a three pin
sensor (+5v, Gnd and Output) that gives a linear output voltage that's proportional to humidity.
SMTRH05 (AU$55.14) or SMTHS10 (AU$54.59) humidity sensor (requires 555 timer).
DS1820 or DS18S20 (AU$19.57) temperature sensor
provides 9 bit temperature readings which are sent over a 1 wire interface.
