About us.

The Essendon Bushwalking Club is a member of the Bushwalking Victoria. The Club was formed in 1975,and is a major club servicing the Northern and Western suburbs. The main theme of the club is to enjoy the great outdoors and through participation learn new skills and have FUN.

Club meetings.

From January 2006 the club's monthly meetings will be held at the Moonee Ponds Bowling Club, Queens Park on Mt Alexander Road, Moonee Ponds (Melways ref 28 J6). The club will have access to a bar, tables, chairs, loud speakers, urn and crockery. Members can even partake in lawn bowls if they wish!
This is due to the hall at St Thomas Church being re-developed in late 2006.
The meeting times will remain unchanged. There is ample parking on Mt Alexander Road.
The club meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 7.30 pm.

Visitors are most welcome to attend.
